 The foundation stone of the protective wall was laid today in Shambwat area of ​​Nadir Shah Kot district with the technical assistance of ADA with the financial support of WFP.


 The ceremony was attended by Deputy Governor Maulvi Mohammad Anwar Din Parwar, Director of Economics Shahzada Pir, WFP officials and locals.


 Deputy Governor Maulvi Mohammad Anwar said in his speech that with the implementation of the project, tens of acres of agricultural land and houses would be protected from rain water damage.


 The Deputy Governor asked the officials of the implementing agency to carry out the project in good quality as per the contract and to prevent any kind of corruption in this regard.


 Prince Pir, Director of Economics, thanked the officials of WFP and ADA for their cooperation in the project and assured that they would expand their relations and cooperation with the organizations.


 The World Food Program (WFP) officials said that the project is being implemented at the request of the people of the region and in collaboration with the provincial administration and they promised to implement similar projects in other areas.
