 In the past one week, the Red Crescent has provided eight items of food to 10,000 families in the south-western region, of which 4,000 were from Kandahar, 3,000 from Helmand and 3,000 from Rozgan.


 Mufti Faizullah Faizi, head of the Kandahar Red Crescent Society, said it had helped 4,000 families in Kandahar who had been affected by drought and war, as well as homeless and displaced.


 According to Mufti Faizullah Faizi, the aid included flour, rice, oil, sugar, beans, tea, salt and biscuits.

The Director of Urban Development and Lands met with the managers of the districts


 On Tuesday, Maulvi Abdul Matin, director of urban planning and lands, met with district managers, during which the director of urban planning and lands made recommendations to district managers on various issues.

 In Kandahar on Saturday, the Department of Refugees and Repatriation, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), donated 200 US dollars, three blankets and other promised items to eight needy families.
