 Afghanistan v Bangladesh Cricket Match:

Afghanistan set a six-run target for Bangladesh.

In the last few matches played at the stadium, the target has been set at 5, the target is low, but that does not mean that Bangladesh cannot get out with less runs.  Happy 50th birthday to Najib Zadran.  In the top order, one or two other bigwigs should have made the fifties to set the target even higher.

The main, only and persistent problem of Afghanistan's batting was that the batsmen could not run one or two runs and therefore they could not run any runs in today's match.  If he had run halfway through, the target would have been 6.  What a cruelty!  The problem was in the game against the Netherlands, before and now.  Afghan trainers must take a permanent look at this problem.  International games are not limited to sixes and fours.

In the opening match, Rahmanullah Garbiz got out on his own.  It is true that Grubbs is playing fast and aggressive and may be given a plan, but he has to study the game situation and play accordingly.

Bangladesh bowled well, Tamim Iqbal made good use of his bowlers at the right time and in the right place.  Fielding was aggressive from the start of the game, bringing pressure and trying to keep it to the end.

Looking at the slow bowlers Mehdi and Shakib bowling, perhaps Mujeeb, Rashid and Nabi will be a big headache for the Bengali bowlers.
