The Governor of Kunar met with representatives of donors and implementing agencies to coordinate and ensure transparency in humanitarian assistance.

The Governor of Kunar, Sheikh Hadith Mohammad Qasim Khalid, met with representatives of local and international organizations, including a number of officials from sectoral agencies, in his office today.

During the visit, discussions were held on food security, assistance to displaced families, combating poverty and effective ways to provide assistance to deserving families.

The Governor of Kunar, Sheikh Hadith Maulvi Mohammad Qasim Khalid, said that there were good opportunities for the development of donor activities in the province and hoped that the implementing agencies would target the deserving families and provide assistance to them.

During the meeting, Maulvi Shakrullah Habib, Sector Director of the Governor's Office, Maulvi Shams-ur-Rehman Selab, Director of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Maulvi Ezatullah Hidayat, Director of Agriculture, and representatives of the Economy Department shared information on activities and provided assistance. Institutional and institutional coordination was important and further development was emphasized.
